“Decent hotel. Staff were very friendly. Downstairs bar really nice with good food. Nice location alongside river. Only downside was mattress in room was very uncomfortable. Far too soft so I sank too far into it. Very hard to get a decent sleep which was disappointing for a break away. ”

“Wonderful only thing remote did not work to put on tv. A nice person arrived stating batteries might be low, fiddled with remote, finally got it working, not really explaining the fault after it was turned off it did not work again. Did not bother them again. Otherwise 💯 will go back”

“While a few things could use a little updating, everything was very clean and the owners were absolutely fantastic. We checked in late send out early, so we didn’t have time to enjoy the extensive property. It was a quiet, family friendly location, and breakfast was absolutely amazing. “The town of Arklow is a quaint, quiet little town, very walkable, a river nearby. The Hotels proprietor was a very friendly, kind, helpful man. Check in at the bar was quick, room was nicely renovated, it could have been the time of year but it was VERY quiet in the upstairs area, I felt like I was the only one staying there. There was a bountiful, delicious breakfast the next morning, a full Irish breakfast and I had a lovely chat with the barkeep....he had been working there for 50……
