“Great place, but no A/C. We were there in July and it was unreasonable hot in the upstairs bedrooms to the point of not being able to sleep. The fans provided were adorable, but not enough to make a dent with keeping the air circulated. Keep this in mind during the summer, it will be HOT in that house and unbearable. Also, it would have been nice to be notified that there is a “fee” to use the pool/fitness area. $10.00 per person per day and another $2.00 for a towel.”

There is road and train noise you can read abt in the reviews and see location on the map but there are nice fans in each bedroom and we ran ours on low and it helped. The street is quaint and adjacent to newly developed river walking trails. The historic nature of the property is cool and helps appreciate some of the space issues - tight front bathroom but also applaud the modern inclusions - spacious full kitchen and dining room! Side yard nice for pups! Enjoy……

“We happened to have a heat wave while we were there, so the lack of air conditioning was a problem. I learned that I should definitely check that box in future rentals. The yard was very overgrown, almost shoulder height weeds (I’m 5’7”) and we could not really use the space well. “House was nice, comfortable and clean. Need more forks😂 only have 8 total so lots of washing before meals and snacks. Front door entry was difficult at best, code is long and directions were not clear. Lots of steps up to house and inside, hard for anyone with mobility issues. ”
