“Absolutely lovely place to stay, the owners are so kind and caring and lovely to speak to we arrived about 5.30pm to a lovely gentleman who showed us around the farm and to our room. There was fresh milk in the room and every amenity you could think of, breakfast was at a time of our choosing 9.30am as we fancied a lie-in, amazing chef the breakfast was to die for. “A nice hotel that is sensibly priced. Perfect for short stays when in the Grimsby area. The restaurant is good and the breakfast is verging towards excellent, but could be improved by the addition of smoked haddock with poached eggs, as well as kippers, to the menu. ”

“A lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. My husband is a severe asthmatic and is allergic to feathers. When we realised that the pillows and duvet were feather and spoke to the housekeeping staff, they went out of their way to help us. They changed all the bedding and ensured that there were no feathers in the room. Special thanks should go to Suzanne and the blond lady who organised this for us. “Second time we have stayed at Ashbourne Hotel, and again the service was impeccable. Even though there was a wedding on, we didn’t feel like we were in the way or our needs couldn’t be met. Stayed in Room 310 (first floor) which was a quiet and comfortable. ”
