“We enjoyed a very relaxing two-night getaway in Pat’s ground floor apartment. The views are gorgeous and the apartment is set up beautifully, with lovely art and numerous fascinating cookbooks. We found the bed incredibly comfortable. While we had all we needed for our light cooking, the kitchenware offerings were extensive. The Newtown General Store, recommended by Pat, is a must for delicious and inexpensive sandwiches. After a bike ride from Monroe to Trumbull, we had a great time sipping……

“This property gets a -1*, the apartment was beat up, awful odor, plastic glove stuck to shower tile. The furniture was awful, would not sit on couch, I even left my nice blanket there. The building smelled awful, dirty, low income housing. I am trying to get some compensation back 4 weeks later, keep getting run around. ”

No answer in business office after hours? We had to contact VRBO for entrance info? The owner sent us required questions while on air travel? Why couldn't they have sent the info a day earlier so we had the required info to enter the unit. Overall, the unit was as described and clean. It would have been nice……

“I had such a great time in Stamford! Very lovely town and a very lovely property. It is a 15 minute walk to downtown so I’d recommend loaning a car or using rideshare services. The unit also has quite low ceilings, so it does feel a bit cramped if you’re over 6 foot.Overall, a very great unit and communicative hosts.”
