“Air conditioning was amazing and kept up well with an extremely hot Texas week. Game tables were very fun and appliances worked well. The house met our basic needs. Host was very responsive when a bed was missing. Room for (sometimes major) improvements: -Had to ask for access to house even after check in time. Thankfully, host responded within 15 minutes. -The flooring is coming up in multiple places. Really pretty dangerous. -While house sleeps 8, there are not enough place settings or……

“My husband and I were in town for a wedding and our stay at the Blue Bayou was wonderful! Michelle and Robert were incredible hosts, constantly checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. “This was a great little place to stay a few days. Definitely better than a hotel. Cute cottage with all ya need. Couple of jacuzzis and nice view from them. Chose it for proximity to Kemah Boardwalk. The floor is soft between the bed and into the bathroom next to the toilet and floor tiles didn't fit right but covered them up with rugs. May consider repairing the soft foot before it gets worse and an injury occurs. Bed was very comfortable! Enjoyed the stay there.”

“This house was so cute!! Spacious and clean. The location of the house was really good and close to grocery, bars, restaurants, etc. Caroline was so helpful and nice! I would definitely recommend and stay here again. If I pick on something driveway needs work but overall house was great.”

“The property has great potential, unfortunately it fell really short with providing a comfortable stay. The house is very spacious with access to use the garage except there was no remote and you need to close the garage from the inside and exit through the house. The flip side however, outweighed the good as follows: The house was not cleaned well at all, there was hair and the floors were dirty especially in all bathrooms. The linens/covers on the beds were also not clean, were stained……
