“Very good the room is big”

“I had a great experience at Ivy Boutique Hotel on a previous visit, but this time was a complete letdown. The heating was broken in freezing 0-degree Chicago weather, making the room unbearably cold. To make matters worse, there was no liner between the sheets, which felt unhygienic and uncomfortable. It’s clear that the quality has decreased significantly, and the attention to detail is lacking. For the price, I expected much better. Won’t be returning.”

“The staff are very enthusiastic, and both the bar and the restaurant are quite good. However, the sound insulation of the windows is very poor, so the sound of the subway outside is very clear. Additionally, the noise from the heating in the room is also quite loud. ”

“Clean, simple space close to the parks at the waterfront (Millennium, Grant, etc) and several spots for coffee. A bit of an odd building location (it's in a dorm tower with a laundry space next door! Not noisy tho) but easy to access at all hours, nice view as pictured.”

“Nice smallish, comfortable, downtown hotel. Well placed for access to Chicago assets. (Only 2 elevators, one didn't work). ”

“The suite was incredibly spacious and comfortable. While check-in was slow due to a payment issue with another guest, the sole staff member at 8 PM was very patient and handled everything expertly. The hotel's facilities and location are perfect. A great stay!”
