“Barton Instow Guest house is a jewel in the crown. A lovely old converted farmhouse nestled in the Instow countryside but only a short walk to the beautiful beach front. The bed was clean and comfortable, towels dressing gowns and toiletries are also provided. Cold milk was available each evening for a morning cuppa in your room before an amazing breakfast choice of delicious food. Packed lunches are available at an additional small cost if you are walking or going to the beach. Caroline and……
“Amazing place to stay! If your 6ft, don’t go in Room 6! Breakfast was amazing, I’m missing it already! Definitely worth staying here! Highly recommended !”
“Beautiful little cabin, perfect for a couple nights! It was a little bit difficult to find but worth the drive. Lovely scenery and the cabin has everything you need for your stay. Definitely would stay again!”
“To be totally frank this property room wise is stuck in an 80,s time warp and in dire need of modernising. Whilst it was clean in this day an age to label it superior is far from what the room actually is especially with the lack of power sockets by the bed. To some people of a certain age this may still appeal but to be totally honest for what they are charging it totally fails on all points.roosuperior. ”
“We had a warm, friendly welcome and staff did all they could to make our stay satisfactory. The food was first rate. Everywhere was very clean as were the bed linen and towels. I can genuinely recommend this venue.”
“Nice apartment, ideal positioning, Illfracombe is very steep, but lovely walks to be had. Car parking is free after 6pm in the town also. We didn’t use the facilities but pool looked a decent size.
Cushions on the bed were very hard. Could maybe do with a couple of soft ones in the wardrobe as a just incase. Lovely place overall. ”
“The booking on hotels.com stated that the property was pet friendly and dogs stay free. When the booking was confirmed, we were told that pets were £35 per pet and not as advertised. Avoid if you have pets.”
