“In town for the Blues Festival, awesome experience if you’ve never been. Much better place to land than a hotel or camping! Interior space is nice, exterior space needs cleaning and maintenance. We would not stay here again simply because of the parking situation and the requirement to back out of a long driveway onto a busy road. Not easy to do even with our compact car. Recommend bringing your own cookware as what is provided is scant and old with teflon flaking off.”

“Lovely historic hotel with modern amenities in the heart of a small town on the river front. Once checked in I could have all of my needs met by foot! A nice brewery, restaurants and the river front all within a mile. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever enjoyed in a hotel. Hours are spotty, but I did get to enjoy both the basement Speakeasy as well as the dining room for breakfast. Wonderful stay overall.”

“My mom and I stayed here while we were in town for a book signing. It's an old home that has been upgraded, but still feels unique (the floors are beautiful). It's the perfect size for 2-3 people. The heat lamp in the bathroom is great. Nice quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to downtown and the library! Fair warning that the washer and dryer are not free (coin-operated), so if you had a longer stay, be prepared for that! ”

“The location we had originally booked canceled our reservation due to selling property and issues with plumbing. Upon searching for something close we stumbled across this amazing property. Granted its not on the water like the place we originally had, but this location slept more people, was large, had 2 bathrooms, a cleaning room for fish, a huge kitchen, was decorated very nicely with outdoor theme, and the owners were very accommodating, easy to work with and fast to respond. “The property is super cozy and comfortable for our family of four adults. Accessibility is excellent with a large bedroom on the main floor with plenty of space to walk around in and great bathroom also on the main floor with a very accessible shower. Both bathrooms appear newly updated. The upstairs bedroom is very cute, has plenty of space and both beds are extremely comfortable. The house was extremely clean, and I really appreciated the patio in front with comfortable sofa and chairs.……
