“If you’re just looking for a clean, decent, and convenient place to stay for 1-2 nights, I highly recommend this place. We landed around 11:30 pm, this hotel is very close to the airport (walkable). We stayed here at the front and back ends of our trip as we spent the majority of the trip in Aitutaki. We would stay here again. The restaurant had great food and drinks. I even got a wonderful massage for a great price here. They also have free WiFi. WiFi is hard to find on the island unless……

“Awesome stay, absolutely beautiful location and the lagoon being right there is INCREDIBLE. Amazing snorkelling right outside your room, saw rays and awesome fish (someone saw a turtle but we did not). Absolutely would recommend, staff are lovely and a pleasure to chat to. Swim up bar is awesome and perfect way to cool off. Can't recommend highly enough!”

“Our room was immaculate all the small details like the sliding door insect screen, room service hook, pool access & having your own outdoor seating area. All the staff were wonderful especially Andrew he was amazing! That was my 2nd visit to Aitutaki & the beginning of my holiday that made it memorable!”

“We enjoyed our stay and found the property to be above our expections. Communication was good and we were met onsite by the Property Manager who was lovely. A car or scooter is useful for this property as it is up a steep hillside. Overall, fantastic value for money and in a great location to explore all the area has to offer.”

“The beach was so beautiful, safe to swim, would have taken my own snorkel if I had know how great the area was. Our room was on the bottom floor, so we could go out our doors right out to the beach. The outdoor dining was just a few steps from our room. The food was great, so were the drinks. One drink in particular was great, called a Mud Lover. The staff was great, especially Ryan, very friendly and helpful. Marvin was also great. One thing I would recommend would be to rent a car at least……

“Paul & his team are amazing hosts. The Black Pearl is a lovely place to stay without the hustle and bustle of a big complex. Everything is available from a washing machine, BBQ & reef shoes. The beach is a 30 second walk accross the road and there is a restaurant and garage right next door for any snacks or drinks if needed. Paul can provide great recommendations for restaurants and car hire! Thank you so much for making our first trip to Raro truly on to remember!!”

“Kristina and her staff were great. Super friendly and helpful. The back villa came with amazing views with loungers and a table and chairs to enjoy the raised deck views. Bikes and kayaks were available for use and allowed us to see three turtles in the lagoon while paddling on three separate days. Loungers were also available for use on the beach. The night market was only steps away which made dining easy when we had no car available. We did rent a Muri Shores vehicle they had available at the……

“The hotel’s location is great, with convenient transportation and many good restaurants within walking distance, especially with a night market right next door. However, the hotel’s facilities are quite outdated, and the cleanliness of the rooms is average. There is even a leakage issue with the ceiling. The breakfast options are limited, making the value for money quite average for the price. Not highly recommended.”
