“Perfect size and location for visiting friends and family. The view of the valley is delightful. The unit is attached to the main house but has its own entrance. Clean and comfortable, the room was a bit like a private hotel room in the country. It's a short drive to Verona, Mt. Horeb or to Madison. I brought my dog, who loved the large yard and visiting the nearby dog park. ”

“We stayed here over UWL graduation weekend. I choose this as it was close to everything, on the river, and we did not have to share space with anyone. The place was very clean and super cute inside. The owner gave me easy instructions and was easily available by phone when I needed to call. I would highly recommend this place!!”

“The house is amazing! The apartment was lovely. The space was decorated perfectly. It had everything we needed. There was plenty of space and more! We enjoyed the park across the street as well as walking downtown. The neighborhood was gorgeous! It was a wonderful experience. I do hope we make our way back to LaCrosse very soon. We'd love to stay here again! ”

“It was a beautiful, cozy space. Check in was a breeze and everything from towels and linens to coffee were already prepared. The owners are pleasant and provide snacks and refreshments for us upon arrival and were in contact with us about updates and made themselves available in case we had questions. I would definitely book again!”

“This was the perfect getaway home! Plenty of room and so close to major attractions. We would definitely stay here again. Just waiting to hear back on some possible items left behind. I have contacted Chris and am awaiting an answer. My daughter feels she left behind a concert souvenir tshirt from Megan Maroney (?) and a brand new blue bikini swimsuit. She said she left them in the hallway bathroom of our home. Valuable items to my daughter. Hoping the cleaning crew found those items……

“Totally enjoyed my stay at "the lily pad". Everything was just as described! I had the pleasure of meeting Mary. She's wonderful and made sure everything was to my liking. Nice little town and the people were very kind. Goose blind has great food and great people! I will certainly try my best to be back again next year!!”

“Enjoyed this property very much! Everything was new—we had to take the plastic off the pull out mattress and tags off the bath towels! Pretty sure we were the first guests to use the air fryer and they still have brand new steak knives and pans! There was a bit on confusion with the beds (the listing was not accurate) but great communication any time we had any questions or concerns. The unit also listed a hair dryer but unfortunately it only had a “European” plug flat iron. But good……

“Badass place def returning to this ”

“The room was beautiful and perfect for a family stay. The only thing was the lack of staff for check-in and guidance to where the room was. We also were charged an extra resort fee at check-in that we were not aware of. Waterpark was very crowded. But overall it was a good weekend, the kids loved it and we will likely be back.”
