“We loved staying in this cabin. Not only is it by a river (a huge plus for us) but it is roomy. Inside, the kitchen is great: stove, microwave full-size refrigerator, plenty of dishes & flatware, pots & pans, dishwasher, and spices. When you close the bathroom door, the bedroom is really dark in the morning....great for sleeping in! The wraparound porch is fantastic with a round dining table, rocking chairs and gliders. We had such good weather, we enjoyed taking our meals outside to enjoy the……

“My sister and I were delighted to revisit one of our favorite mountain cabins. We love the convenient access, proximity to quaint mountain towns, and especially the beautiful private park with flowing creek. We always make time for the noontime music at the Bluegrass Music Museum and can't resist a trip to Nancy's Candies. This time we added a picnic at Groundhog Mt. So relaxing. “The cabin is very clean and cozy. Great little porch to have evening wine or morning coffee on. Nice little fire pit to relax around in the evening. The cabin is fully stocked and the owner Michelle lives right nearby and made sure we had everything we needed. She even came down and set up the logs in the fire pit. Highly recommend this charming cabin. Fancy Gap has no real grocery store but there is a Food Lion about 11 miles away that has everything.”
