“Wonderful little spot for a quick trip. Enjoyed the decor and coffee much appreciated. Didn't have time to kayak this trip but most likely return for another stay. ”

“Cute little cottage on the bay. Was great for one night. Beds weren't very comfortable and there was no way to get to a beach because the park was closed. But the porch was great for coffee in the morning, kitchen was well stocked, and had everything we needed for a quick stop over. ”

“The house was nice and located on a canal where you could catch fish. We were a large group of 6 people, and we love to cook.There was a grill outside and we were able to use that.The only issue was the floors weren't clean like we would like, so we wore our shoes in the house :-)”

“We enjoyed our stay at the mermaid retreat. The common areas are spacious and cozy. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and we very much enjoyed the kayaks, lanai and dock. Just a short paddle away from the river where we could paddle up towards the state park. Saw several manatees on our journey. The neighbors are friendly and quiet. Very peaceful overall. ”

“The location is perfect for Tampa. About 25 minutes from downtown. We were golfing in the area and only going downtown to eat dinner, so this was perfect for us. Quiet neighbrohood. The only con is that there were 0 paper towels, one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, and one towel per person. This was disappointing as we had to buy these things at Target.”
