“Windemere by the sea was better than advertised. Kim and all the staff were attentive and available with any needs. Homemade, fresh breakfast everyday. Very good service. “We enjoyed this delightful B&B. The rooms are very beautiful, comfortable, and interesting. There are surprising treasures everywhere to look at, like NASA rocket pictures, a larger than life-sized horse with an armored man on it, an antique red telephone box. The staff, Crystal and Anat, were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be returning!”

“We all enjoyed the space & comfort of the house. Beds and linens were very comfortable with plenty of seating area for a large group. Neighborhood was very quiet and pool area was great for relaxing in the evenings when the sun went down. Our golfers loved the four golf courses near by. Owner was readily available (though we had no issues). We were enjoying spending time with our family so didn’t really make use of the movie room or the huge TV. Recommended for large groups.”

“Stayed in the Heron Room with direct entry from the front porch. It was a little odd as you enter through the bathroom which didn't matter to us, but could be awkward if you're sharing with a friend. There is a 2nd entry from the back of the property too. The room was spacious with a refrigerator and microwave. From the room, you have access through a door into the main house where you can help yourself to breakfast, snacks and drinks. This room has it's own screened porch which we enjoyed……

“The place was nicely decorated, great kitchen. Only 5 places to sit but we had 2 staying and 2 visitors so it was ok. Back yard is pretty small but good enough although the sofa is in front of the back door, so some maneuvering was required.”

“New owner as of few weeks ago. Restoration work being done. Beautiful setting, Pecky cypress ceilings in main area. Wood floors with beautiful carpeting up stairways and through halls. Very clean. My room appeared to be recently painted. Very comfortable. Wi-fi iffy. Staff very pleasant & helpful. Continental breakfast. Apparently lightning strike on chimney has created some problems. Staff said that plans are to closed and complete repairs after June 17th. When that is done, this……
