“Great location, great host, great breakfast, great parking, great atmosphere & sunsets. Comfortable common areas with tea/coffee & treats. Great artwork everywhere. Our room was spotless with access to a patio & Laura's manicured gardens. It was just a 10 minute, beautiful, practically private walk from the side yard to either the Castle or 5 minutes further to the town. Park the car & forget about it. “A comfortable stay. Some wall damage in the room was in need of repair. Access to the check-in point is awkward. You have to walk through dining patrons of the restaurant to check in. Don't bring in your luggage--the hotel part is across the drive and it is unattended. That seems odd but it was otherwise a great place. Great restaurant! ”

“Fast, friendly check-in. Room was bright, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The food in the restaurant was nice and there was enough to choose from the breakfast buffet in the morning. Overall it was a pleasant stay.”

“Impromptu stay (good weather) so booked at night at the Woodside. On arrival a nice wee bonus to be upgraded. Our room and the other facilities were spotlessly clean, the bed comfy and the shower great. The bar and restaurant both for drinks, dinner and breakfast had excellent choice and beautifully cooked….but what made the Woodside special was the staff….the service was excellent and friendly. Great stay, we’ll be back….with friends in tow.”

“Great communication from start to finish very welcoming upon arrival. Room was lovely clean and veey comfertable. Good options for breakfast. Callum the owner made a lovely breakfast & ofdered more if we wished but wasnt needed very filling great atmosphere with retro record player playing in background. Would highly reccomend and we will definetly use the facility again. Good access ro local toen amenities xx”
