“I like its history and the Staff are excellent. I disliked: a) Wasting so much milk. I only needed a small spoonful. b) Morning shower.......the water was tepid at the most despite the fact that I reported it and was assured it would be better next day. c) Noisy, especially on Friday night. I could feel the bedroom floor vibrating. d) I found the dinner menu very limited after the first evening. ”

“A lovely mini weekend getaway, which I would thoroughly recommend. Greeted in arrival with a glsss of Prosecco and room was ready!! Room was spacious but slightly lacking in storage space. Spa room is lovely but can get overcrowded so maybe not quite as romantic / peaceful as you want. Lack of hanging space (robes) in the Spa. Steam room didn’t feel like a steam room, unfortunately but that’s the only down side. Staff were attentive at all times, polite and made us feel very welcomed! Firepit is……

“We spend a good time in this hotel. Room is clean and tidy. Comfortable bed. Bath water smoothy. They also serve good breakfast。We arrived after ten at night and the front desk waited us patiently.Just 10 minutes walking to the old town.Free parking is a surplus.The restaurant in town they recommended is tasteful. Recommend to all. ”

However, Howfield Manor is a beautiful building and even in December the grounds were lovely. I would like to stay there again. ”

“Newly decorated room so pristine. Mattress coukd be better as a topper isn't the answer to everything especially on a soft mattress. The bath was big enough for me to gain my 25m breast stroke badge!”
