“A lovely place to stay. From the minute we walked in wa we was made to feel welcome. The room was very clean and had a very comfortable king-size bed a a fabulous walkin shower. The food was amazing and the home made crumpets are out of this world. ”
“The staff were so welcoming and lovely it made the stay so enjoyable. There was an issue with WiFi and the staff couldn't apologise enough. It did not matter to us as we could enjoy the stay without the phones/emails etc. The food was all home cooked and delicious. Will definitely visit again.”

“We had a lovely overnight stay at this inn. The room was great , very clean , quality fixtures and fittings. Bed very comfortable, quality bed linens. Spacious ensuite , plenty of hot water with good water pressure in the shower. Showe gel , shampoo and towels all provided.
We had a lovely meal in the evening , 3 course special menu was great value.
Great breakfast provided in the morning.
Team at the inn were friendly and welcoming.

“We had a lovely one night stay. The hot tub was great and the beds were very comfy. Having a drying room was a good bonus and we appreciated being able to borrow things like plastic glasses to use in the hot tub and sliders. ”
“The property was fair and they did have a good breakfast. But that the town who is lacking in dining and other amenities it's a very small town. One would be better to stay in Princetown. ”

“Not quite sure it meets 5 star standard. Room space is lovely, plush and beds super comfy. Bathroom quite basic but shampoo etc provided. Spa ok but could with refurb now as facilities dated. One if the steam rooms out of order. Large glass door smashed and awaiting repair. Loungers by pool were soggy and stank. Lifts up to the spa all out of order Breakfast was the highlight. Ok hotel but nothing special. ”

“We spent 2 nights at the Edgecumb Arms for a family reunion. The room was superb, with great views over the Tamar. It was very well appointed. The English breakfast was delicious and copious and the staff was extremely attentive and welcoming. Bonus point - we were able to able to bring our dog. Amazing walks in the Edgecumb park which is one minute away or alongside the river Tamara. This was our second stay and will happily stay again in the future. ”
“Everything was v clean. We stayed in the Wotter Room on the second floor. Yes it could all do with a bit of a paint in patches but the room is charming and huge. The view was amazing - we could see the fireworks in Plymouth the first night that we stayed.
Had a fab Nepalese curry on Wednesday followed by an Indian pudding which was delicious. Steak on the second night.
The hotel is on the edge of Dartmoor but close enough to the local tourist attractions.
We will definitely return. ”
