Fantastic location a mere 5 minute drive to Newcastle airport, yet off the flight path so slept perfectly. ”
“Hotel rooms at the back of a large traditional local stone public house. Very good standard of room. Easy to park car park of a good size. Bus stops directly outside the hotel. 15mins walk to town centre. Check-in though was too slow, using staff that were occupied at the bar. Staff very friendly when eventually the lady arrived. Check-out also suffered by using staff from the pub area, although early in the morning the wait was not long.”
“Lovely stay, comfy bed, dinner at onsite pub was delicious. Extensive, well maintained grounds to walk around. Loved the small things like the notice in our room offering fresh milk and ice if you called reception and the filtered water dispenser in the area outside our room ”
“We were welcomed with warm chocolate chip cookies ..... yum! Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was quiet and spacious and provided everything we needed.
It is literally a two minute walk across the road to the airport terminal.”
“The location was excellent. Morpeth is a beautiful town and everything is within easy walking distance of the Premier Lodge. My only criticism is that the Lodge is a red brick building and looks nothing like the photo. Nothing wrong with it though.”
“The check in was fast and friendly, the room is lovely, with a nice view. There was quite a lot of noise from the street below early in the morning and the church bells were regular throughout the night. The breakfast was a good amount but lukewarm spolt the vibe. The price we paid , i think was high for this standard.”
