“Really enjoyed our stay but the only negativity is that the bedroom walls could do with being soundproofed better ( we stayed valentine's night!) and the bathroom needs a bit of tlc”

“Pub is closed on Sunday evenings and Monday morning so only contact we had was to pick key up, so cannot really comment on service. Lodge was clean but looking a bit tired, but was fine for a one night stay. ”

“A 1 night stay for work reasons. The pub and food are excellent with a good selection at a reasonable price. My room was comfortable but very cold due to the old leaking sash windows. All in all for the price it's ok for a 1 night stay. ”

“Food was exceptional for both evening meal and breakfast and staff was on hand and very helpful and friendly to deal with during my stay. Rooms were of a very good and clean but of an average standard but would stay again just for the food.”

“I like the architecture and design of the property, like the area as I have lots of memories living near by for 4 years, love local diner and antic shops, to have chinese food next door was also convenient, appreciate to have a quiet room. I was only regret not to have a brush for the toilet in the bathroom.. The staf was very kind and friendly.. so thank you all”

“An enormous hotel complex within a golf course, comfortable and clean, but a bit impersonal when empty on a cold February weekend. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had the shower in the bath. The spa was good at £20 for two hours especially as I had it to myself. We ate in the bar on Saturday night, which had several menu options, rather than the vast empty dining room. Nice views over the lakes and golf course but not somewhere to go walking. Not cosy but good value. ”

“and helpful and will do everything to serve you. The amenities i.e the pool, gym, etc are just a great extra, more than other gotels offer. They even have a children's area with toys and more. The breakfast is so good for value and a good selection to choose from.”
