“Absolutely stunning views, with property leading out onto a gorgeous unspoilt beach. Friendly staff. Loses a mark as on the final day we left our bags on reception where they insisted they would be safe and looked after while we went out for lunch. However we walked back in and got them without anyone checking. Slight security concern they need to look at as lovely place otherwise :)”

“Nos encantó como estaba mimetizado con el entorno. Estás en plena naturaleza, pero con todas las comodidades. A nivel de diseño, nos encantó la arquitectura y la decoración del complejo. Había variedad de platos y bebidas, todo buenísimo. Hay oferta de actividades muy interesantes. La comunicación con el personal es fácil y cómoda. Es el lugar ideal para relajarse. “Where to start, these guys cancelled our entire booking because we were late for check in leaving us stuck in a monsoon with our 3 month old infant. When we finally got into the property the next day, a solid hardwood curtain rod fell on my partners head who was holding our kid. Very luckily only she was hurt. The restaurant was basically not working. The bar was shut. I get that its the off season but say this in your booking profile. When we decided to leave after 1 night to head to Unawatuna……

“It's a fabulous place. Beautiful rooms and the pool is fantastic. Breakfast was lovely, a bit fiddly with the coffee machine but no complaints. I was disappointed having arrived at 8.30pm that the 'all day dining' wasn't available. There wasn't any indication of the closing time on the website for evening meal. Had I known I would have eaten on the way. So perhaps make that clear on any booking in future. ”

“Firstly the reservation hadn't been received so I had to pay for the room again and rely on a refund from Hotels.com. Nice room but very noisy with train line adjacent to the building. Location wasn't great with a 20 min walk into Ahangama and no nearby restaurant or food shops. I left one night early but no refund for the unused night from the hotel. Overall not a good experience.”
