“The best thing that I can say about this property is that owners apparently did some DIY improvements. The photos online are enticing but not exactly accurate. Hemlock Nob condominiums are average, old, and has an HOA which Vacasa would not give us any contact info to take care of outside problems or emergencies. We arrived about 4:30pm on our check-in date and found 6 inches to 1 foot of snow and ice on the 12 steps and front deck leading to the outside entrance door (which had 4 inch……

“A bit hard to find, glad it was daylight when we arrived! We were in the area to visit small towns of NC. Many not terribly far from this location! Banner Elk, Boone, Grandfather, Seven Devils, and Blue Ridge ParkwayFreshest air you could breathe! Comfortable living room furniture, and plenty spacious for two. ”

“This is a great property and a great location. The condo is as described and communication was excellent. The check in process was hassle free and I would definitely stay here again. “Very nice condo. A few things in need of repair. I put the screen door back on its tracks, and adjusted it so it closes properly. I tightened up the loose screws on some cabinet doors. There are a few other things could use fixing. But it was nice enough. The view from the porch was priceless.”

“Location and layout was excellent.....our 2nd time staying here. However, while checking in, I noticed plungers in both bathrooms, right beside the toilets.....never a good sign but when I ended up sick with an intestinal virus, it was a nightmare. One toilet became clogged almost immediately and the sink I needed badly, would not drain. Good thing was that Tim, the host responded quickly and had a handy man to help in 20 minutes!!! A lifesaver!!! Suggestion: fix plumbing so that plungers are no……
