“ I had an okay stay at this hotel. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the check-in process smooth. However, I found it a bit tricky to locate the actual front desk area, which could have been better marked. The hotel's location is great if you're someone who enjoys being right on the beach, but keep in mind that it's quite far from other attractions and restaurants. If you're planning to explore the city, it might not be the most convenient choice.……

“Stayed here prior to a cruise. Very disappointed in the cost of a shuttle to the port $35 pp. we had taken a shuttle from Houston to the hotel at a cost of $26 for a much longer journey. Next time will stay closer to the port in a hotel with a free shuttle”

“Loved our stay. We booked a 2 bedroom suite, which is a very rate find, at a very reasonable price. Front desk gentleman was extremely friendly and courteous. Room was spacious and well equipped. Instead of giving out mini bottles of toiletries, they have wall mounted shampoo, conditioner and body wash which I actually appreciate since it's a bit more environmental friendly than throwing away/down cycling mini bottles after just a few nights of stay. The hotel room seems to have been updated……

“I cannot say enough praise for The George Manor! From the staff to building, from the mural on the wall to the tea served at High Tea Time, everything had a story! The owner was so sweet and took the time to answer every question, the chef was amazing and had so much richness to share of his life, the property and the city itself, the bed gave me the greatest night sleep of my entire life, and the breakfast and tea time were so amazingly authentic it took me back to my time in the UK eating……

“Beautiful spacious and inviting classic house! Our hostess was outstanding, very friendly and accommodating. The room we stayed in was “The Preacher” and it was outstanding. Very large, comfortable with an incredible bed and a 7 foot claw foot soaking tub. Breakfast was delicious! Belgian waffles with fresh fruit, juice and coffee. ”
