“This is a very lovely ecuadorian style hotel, with very friendly staff. It has marvelous decorations all over, the beds are comfortable, the showers are hot. It does not have elevators, but the staff happily carried our bags to the third floor, where our room overlooked a plaza. The breakfast was made to order with a marvelous bowl of fresh fruit. It is right in the heart of the old city and was quite safe to walk at night. It was so nice to stay in a hotel that was different from the cookie……

“This is a fantastic property! It is a small boutique apartment hotel with lovely rooms and a very nice courtyard. Our room was 1000 ft.² with two bedrooms and a kitchen and the living area. “A nice boutique hotel with great staffs. Location close to old town. Bed is comfortable and breakfast tasty. Two minor issues with my single room. First being no wardrobe. Second the bathing area is too open and water do spill out and wet the floor a bit.”

“Mario and Blanca run a fantastic operation at Casa El Eden. We are just off a four-night stay with them and couldn’t be happier with our visit. Mario could not have been kinder and more helpful. Want something specific? He can help. Laundry needed? Same day. Need a recommendation or info? Done - and/or he calls a friend. He really went out of his way to ensure that our every question was answered, and every need met. He helped arrange airport transportation both ways and even helped deliver……

“I had a really enjoyable stay here at Hotel Sucre for 3 nights. The staff were very welcoming upon arrival. Shirley was brilliant. The rooms were very modern, clean and spacious. The towels were new and clean also. I felt very safe as the hotel had a guard who was also very helpful. Food options were great with choices of dishes and drinks. I used the laundry service which was very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend staying here. The location is excellent, 1 minute walk to the Metro and……

When we left in early morning to the airport (around 6:00am), they prepared take away breakfast for us even it's just simple fruit, biscuit and drink.
