We received a warm welcome at reception, the rooms were stylishly decorated but homely and the overall layout of the guest areas made for an experience that was simultaneously classy but intimate. We had breakfast and dinner on both of the days of our stay and were impressed by the breadth and flexibility of the menus available and the high quality of the food and wine menu. All in all an excellent stay ”

“Another lovely stay at this beautiful hotel in the heart of historic Lincoln. A short walk from both the Castle and Cathedral. Lots of nice cafes and restaurants nearby. However, we had a delicious afternoon tea and breakfast in the hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming. A wonderful stay and would highly recommend for anyone visiting the city. ”

“ It seems that the staff are not used to greet guests good morning and the like. Also ,the restaurant is under renovation until end March, so reduced breakfast has to be served inside room. The environment outside the hotel is good,though, with many restaurants nearby.”
