“This is how hotels should be. It was absolutely esquisite. The finishings on the building was amazing and consistent throughout and was echoed by the quality at every angle, from the welcome, to food, to service, you name it. Wonderful relaxed atmosphere and a lovely place to be. We stayed during a very quiet period out of holidaty season and were still made to feel very welcome, were always asked how we were, and were very aware that any member of staff would go above and beyond to help……

“Staff are very friendly including the restaurant staff. This hotel represents good value for money and is comfortable. You can hear the trains in certain parts of the hotel which is mentioned in the hotel description, we stay at the weekend so it wasn’t really an issue but during the week I would opt for a room at the other side of the hotel which is clear when booking a room. If in the area would stay again.”

“Our go-to hotel if we need somewhere to stay before a Heathrow flight. The staff are all very friendly, food is excellent (both dinner and breakfast), plentiful parking. We stayed in an executive room this time - we liked the extra space and would book this again. Last time we were there we were helping some friends who had suffered a tragedy that day, and I managed to knock over a large G&T. Even without knowing what we were dealing with, the lady behind the bar calmly cleared up the mess and……

“A lovely location, our room was really nice. Last orders at the bar is a bit early - 10.45pm, no chance for a nightcap if you have been out for the evening. Good breakfast buffet! ”

“It is very centrally located. 5 minutes walk from a large shopping mall and is just a throw stone distance from a beautiful park. Staff are very friendly and helpful.”

“We really enjoyed a brief one night stay with friends. A great location in the heart of a lovely town, a good selection of ales, friendly staff who make you feel welcome, and a really enjoyable dinner. Our room was comfortable, clean and with a nice en suite bathroom, and the breakfast was really good. Would certainly return.”
