“I wasn’t happy it’s not a real hotel but that was forgotten as soon as I walked in. Beautiful room with an amazing hot tub and fireplace. I could have spent the whole vaca here. I relaxed and slept well. Highly highly recommend and will stay here again for sure!”

“Nicely appointed room with comfortable bed, clean and modern bathroom (and power shower) with tea & coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and a really powerful fan (needed in this warm weather). Slept well even though there was a pub nearby as it felt pretty quiet when the windows were closed. Smart TV was great as I could log intomall my own chanels. Only minor point was there was nowhere to hang up clothes - I think there was a nook for it, so maybe the rail was just missing. No problem……

“This is the second time we've stayed at the Mason Freehouse, it was lovely the first time we stayed, which made us keen to return. Although it is now under new management, it's clear that the lovely, friendly, warm welcoming atmosphere is something the staff are keen to retain. The hotel manager (Caroline) and staff are incredibly helpful and attentive. The bar and restaurant are constantly busy with locals and visitors that makes for a great friendly atmosphere.
