“A great stay at an iconic hotel, small signs of maintenance required but did not detract from the ambiance. We had a superior room with balcony overlooking the sea and oh what a spectacular view and the weather was in blue sky and sunshine mode. The service from checking in, restaurant and check out was warm, friendly and efficient. Well cooked and tasty choices in the menu. Overall a great experience.”

“The proprietor was very welcoming, the room was clean and tidy. There was also tea,coffee, biscuits and water available in the room. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. They do not do breakfast but the proprietor recommended places where we could obtain an evening meal with a pint of real ale and also some breakfast the following morning. “So upon arrival the hotel had no record of our booking through Hotels.com. Luckily they had a room available and gave it us for the rate id booked a year ago. The room was large, nicely decorated. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom. Breakfast was outstanding delicious. The staff were lovely. We had two issues. The toilet wasn't clean, had poo stains from previous guests. And there was no hot water from the shower. Luckily the bath was ok. ”
