“My sister and I planned this as part of our "week of adventures" get away and had a lovely stay. The location and check-in would have been perfect had we arrived during daylight hours, however due to airline cancellations and delays we arrived past dark. We loved staying here and would highly recommend, the river was perfect! Just know you are far into the countryside and not close to any markets so plan to be onsite during your stay. Sadly the trails listed are almost unusable as the roads were……

“we spent two nights at this lovely house. Everything was fine. Location is great. House is as described very comfortable. We knew we were really in the country when they heard the coyotes calling to each other at night. The drive to the General Sherman Tree area of Sequoia. National Park is beautiful. It’s not many miles — perhaps 20 but the road is very curvy and takes a good hour to get there. it’s another hour to be Kings Canyon. Both drives are well worth it if you have a good driver”

“Convenient for exploring the Cedar Grove area of park, beautiful on the river. Convenient having restaurant-good food! Was also nice having the market there with frozen food & microwave in the market to use. Air conditioning wonderful in room. Very basic room but perfect for exploring this beautiful area of park. Mist Falls trail at Roads End was awesome!”
