“Great one night stay. The room was lovely and the bed was super comfortable. I also loved the breakfast hamper in the room - the hotel doesn’t do a formal breakfast, however a very good hamper is provided in your room with granola, dried fruit mix, cornflakes, croissants and apples. There’s also tea/coffee, and milk and yogurt in the fridge. I thought this was a great idea and it was all included in the cost of the room. I would definitely stay there again. ”

“Excellent stay , room lovely all staff were so friendly and helpful ! Breakfast very nice , no complaints at all it was 30 degrees when we stayed ,room was very warm but a fan was provided without us needing to ask . There is free parking but wd parked at the ncp which is literally across the road .”

“Stayed here for 1 night. The staff greeted us on arrival and check-in was swift and easy. We were shown to our room and all instructions given. There was a music event on all day which was a fantastic surprise. The atmosphere was brilliant. The food was fantastic on both days. Especially the Sunday roast which was cooked to perfection with the best gravy I have ever tasted. All of the staff were hard working, attentive and polite. “A little remote, but in a nice environment. Nice and cosy, and run by a old couple. The only drawback for an overall top marks is because of the shower, although it is newly installed, it is difficult to operate and the water pressure is somewhat too low to have a nice shower. The worst part is the wall inside the shower cubicle is dirty but consider the old couple are working hard to run the hotel and also the nice letters restaurants, so it is not a complaint, just would like to point it……

“Simply superb! This traditional B&B, for me, was perfect. Louise met me at the door with a warm smile and showed me to my, quaint, comfortable room. The brass-rail bed was super comfortable and my breakfast was cooked excellently by Peter, the other half of this welcoming (and hardworking) couple.
