“Preis-Leistung stimmt. Die Reception und auch das Serviceperspnal sind leider unfreundlich. Herausragend ist Diego, der sehr hilfsbereit ist und sehr nett. Ich wartete somit bis er seine Schicht hatte, um Fragen zu stellen. Denn bei den anderen gab es keine Motivation. Zimmer sind gross (Familienzimmer), Pool ist Standard. The real bonus about staying here is the great access to being very close to the nature of Costa Rica. “My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed La Finca Azul, and especially the family whose vision it is -- including Nacho, Oli, and Cece, the three dogs. I've stayed in agroturismos in Italy, and this was a very similar experience, complete with the fabulous food. I'm pretty sure Italy doesn't offer swimming by yourself in a mountain stream surrounded by the echoes of howler monkeys. ”

As expected: the lodges are rather rustic: good plumbing - meaning toilet flushed fine, and shower runs, albeit I couldn't figure out how to get hot water out.
