“Very nice welcome by our host and we started immediately with wine tasting with cheese and bruschettas. Although we were the only guests she offered to make dinner for us. But we went into the centre of Montepulciano (walking distance) and found a few open restaurants. Beautiful centre with a few shops open despite the winter period closures. Execellent wines in Montepulciano! ”

“This is a very large apartment in a 500 year old well maintained building. It is in the beautiful historic area. Do be aware that this is a VERY hilly area and you will have to walk up and down steep streets everywhere you go. That includes from the parking area. Cars are restricted from the area around the apartment without a permit. ”

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was located in a convenient part of town. It was clean and basic, but exactly as expected. We were met in town and shown to the location which was very helpful. ”

“In the start there were a few misunderstandings and some confusion. Nothing serious. The owner is very kind and responsive. It's a beautiful property and if I'm in the area, I'll stay here again. If you're in the area for tourism be prepared for some moderate-difficult walking.”
