“Hey there, just got back from a trip to Ecuador and I have to let you know about this place "Yumbo Spa & Resort". You have to check it out. It is the perfect place to get away from it all and re-connect with your love one. It sits in the middle of the Andean rain-forest about an hour out of Mindo. The grounds are beautiful and filled with many exotic birds, trees and animals. The owner, Pedro and his staff and family are the best. “the casa is up a road away from the town so you have to get a taxi to anywhere except the tarabita to the waterfalls. The environment is lush and beautiful. The room of the cabin was spacious and clean and comfortable. The first night I stayed there was an accident which knocked out power to Mindo for most of the day, I think the water heater was electric and thus there was no hot water. The staff were very nice and helpful. I did not take meals at the casa so can’t comment on the food.”

“Terrible no se la recomiendo a nadie, de hecho hasta me retire sin hacer mi check-In y lo más triste es que el dinero no es reembolsable, pero en verdad preferí perderle a quedarme en ese lugar, sugiero cambiar las fotos de publicidad que tiene, porque en verdad no corresponde con el estado y condiciones actuales de la propiedad ”

“Es una reserva natural muy bien conservada con senderos que dan al Río Mindo. Realmente hermoso. El alojamiento es muy especial con cabañas de madera y Bambu muy acorde con el paisaje y al mismo tiempo de lujo y cómodas. El personal es sumamente atento y el desayuno es local y recién hecho, delicioso con café pasado. Se desayuna frente a los colibríes y muchas aves del lugar hasta vimos una bandada de tucanes volar desde el restaurante. Tuvimos la oportunidad de hablar con los dueños, una……
