“On a trip to do family and historical research with my husband. The entire property was quaint, and the interior rooms were spotless. Donna and Rick were wonderful hosts- making delicious breakfasts each morning. Also wonderful to end the day of hiking in the wet conditions in front of a roaring fire in the firepit, ducks in the pond, and crickets and treefrogs singing.”

“Beautiful location with the pond! We enjoyed the walking trails and also walking over to Mountain Market Meats for snacks and for delicious breakfast biscuits. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, and we loved the terrace, especially in the evening watching the clouds and stars and listening to the frogs. ”

“The check-in and check-out process were both super easy, all the information was sent in advance for our stay and communication was excellent. We were given the option to extend our stay in advance if we wanted, there were optional add ons. Easiest process ever! The stay was amazing, everything was just as described at the Hobbit Hut!
