“Beautiful historic building, great location where you can walk to everything. Easy to get in the main door and the suite. Nice amenities including the breakfast which was such a spread it was almost too much. Nice pool and outdoor area. Overall really nice!”

“This hotel is a lovely oasis of calm in the city of Ponta Delgada! It’s stylish and modern and the pool is a welcome destination after a day out adventuring. Breakfast was delicious; I cannot recommend the restaurant for dinner as it is closed Monday and Tuesday nights (the two nights of our stay). There was some construction going on that was a bit noisy during the daytime hours (renovations of a nearby property) and the beds were too firm for my taste. But these are little things that don’t……

“Great and friendly service, small but super clean and relaxing spa (guests can reserve 1 hour a day to hang out in the spa at no extra charge), solid free breakfast buffet, and lots of other freebies. Comfy beds and good showers too!”

“We really enjoyed the Rock Hostel. Our room was big and super clean and had a private bathroom. Internet worked great. The breakfast was amazing. We didn't use the pool but it looked fantastic as well. Definitely more of a hotel feel than a hostel. Highly recommend this place. ”

“Great place to stay! Close to everything and right across from the marina. Attentive staff and clean property. Front desk helped rent us a car and with securing a taxi. Only complaint the hot tub not working. Otherwise 5 stars all around. Would stay again. Lovely suite. ”

“I love this place because it’s right in the center. Very convenient. The small balcony has a view of the promenade. The room was nice and comfortable. The breakfast is delivered in a cute basket every morning. The staff were great and easy to communicate via WhatsApp. I would stay here again next time ”

“We were not psychologically prepared for such a tight parking spot as there was a large vehicle beside us. The stay was large and comfy and the kitchen was very essential part of the convenience and freedom. Perhaps it’s the cultural difference as the elevator went to nowhere in between floors. Apartment B has no blackout curtains. We didn’t find the broom until the last day of stay. Laundry and deck allowed for wash and dry of laundry. ”
