“It’s not like the pictures, first the directions are a little sketchy, you have to park your car away from the tent , toilet was a portable potty had to walk a distance to use it . To take a shower you have to go across the street and call the guy at the barn to let you inn . We got up in the m and left , it was not to far from Bethel woods that was a good thing . The host Rose is very nice .”

“We booked last minute as we decided to stay a night in Saratoga on our way to upstate NY. Could not have had a better experience! From my initial interaction with the owner, who was extremely responsive, to the exceptionally kind and informed team we met the next morning - our experience was only diminished by our need to get back on the road. “Owners obviously put a lot of thought and effort into making this a lovely and comfortable place to stay. We were able to witness spectacular sunsets from the the deck surrounding our tent. Be aware that this is dark country, so a local rooster will wake you up early! Only reasons for the 4 stars above: one of the restrooms was out-of-order, so we did not get private restroom as advertised. It wasn’t a big deal, though. Also, would recommend owners mow grass more frequently as walking through……

“I’d definitely stay here again!! When we pulled up my husband thought I was crazy for booking a glamping site near someone home & my teenagers rolled their eyes at me….but we had the BEST time here!! The mini golf course was awesome, we all played as a family! Then my kids found the scavenger hunt & they were gone for over a half hour, all 3 of them together, talking & laughing without phones!! We bought super affordable snacks at the Zen Den & used the air fryers there, then we bought & grilled……

“This was a wonderful site that I would love to visit again. The river flowing by was so beautiful. I would like to stay again when we don’t have so much rain. The river was too raging for any swimming. The only downside was there was a bit of a steep walk down to the site from the parking area, but you do have to go downhill to be near a river.”

“To say this stay was perfect would seem exaggerated to some but to me it seems it doesn’t to it justice! Choosing the cabin as a first time “off-grid” goer was a bit intimidating but with WiFi a few walks away and the views made me forget about that. The hot shower and the bathroom steps away was exceptional to offer on this type of getaway. To be in this privacy of a property with this type of view is something you don’t just get to experience so easily, I know this because I have been to many……

“We came looking for a camping spot for the solar eclipse. Our site was tucked away at the end of a huge field on a small peninsula with a running river nearby. The camping was amazing, the ground was nice and soft for our tents and we could build the campfire up with an endless supply of firewood. The stars were on full display as there wasnt much light pollution in this area. Taking a splash in the fast and cool river was a highlight. “We had a wonderful stay. The property was just as advertised and the hosts provided clear instructions and directions about getting there, where to park, accessing the camp site, etc. We stayed on the overlook site, which had a raised wood platform for the tent and was warmer at night for camping in cold temperatures. Was fun to explore the swimming hole and nearby trails.”
