“last minute decision with very fair rate for the one night stop right in the middle of the city. Street parking limited but we were lucky enough with no stress. Great simple check in with good attic room. Breakfast a little "odd" with no staff in attendance but good choice of continental style affair will stay again”

“Great location right in the centre of Chester, close to restaurants, the Rows and shops. I was pleasantly surprised as to how quiet my room was even though it overlooked Pepper Street which is a busy road- I didn’t hear any traffic at all. ”

“Booked 1 night for a business stop over in the area . Parking is charged by an app and was £15 for 24 hours. The check in was seamless and very efficient .I was given my key to the Goodwood suite . There was a lounge kitchen diner . The kitchen had all the amenities you would need a hob a dual power microwave a fridge and dishwasher. The bedroom also had a TV . And the bathroom was well equipped with a powerful rain shower. The main event was the views . You are only 100 metres from Chester……

“We had a lovely stay here. The staff were absolutely amazing - they couldn’t do enough for us and were so helpful. The hotel itself is very grand but parts do need refreshing. We had a sofa in our room which had a suspicious stain on it- could this have been cleaned off? The air conditioning fan in the room was extremely noisy all night long, even though we had switched it to the off position. This was disappointing. We didn’t have the best sleep as a result - we mentioned on checking out. That……

“Lovely place, friendly staff and excellent location Unfortunately the wall between rooms was so thin I could hear every moment of my neighbour all night. Also the pillows are terrible- made for a very uncomfortable nights sleep. I appreciate you can’t do anything about the soundproofing in such a lovely old building but the pillows are a very cheep easy fix Would stay again but not whilst working! ”

“Excelente. Apesar de acabadinho por fora, por dentro o lugar é muito bem cuidado. Superou minhas expectativas. O quarto que fiquei (twin) erabem espaçoso, bem iluminado e com muitas tomadas para carregar eletrônicos. Estava muito limpo e cheiroso. O banheiro também. O atendimento foi muito bom, pessoas simpáticas e atenciosas. O café da manhã era bem ok, com as típicas opções do English Breakfast, além de torradas, geleiras, cream cheese e frutas.
