“This adorable, thoughtful, comfortable cottage duplex elevated our already-fun and restorative week in Savannah/on Tybee Island. As cute as the pictures are, the space is even cuter. The outdoor shower was so helpful in keeping our 7-year-old tidy, and the whole space managed to feel private despite the density of the Island and that it’s a duplex! The layout offers privacy within community. The kitchen is well-appointed; the living area comfortable; the porch with its sleeping swing a delight.……

“Quick 5 day getaway in between busy family schedules! Enjoyed the relaxed pace of Tybee and access to Savannah. Salty Mermaid checked all the points for us…serene lagoon pool, clean hot tub, private setting. We traveled by plane so were unable to bring a lot of “extras”…our host had us set up for not a need in the world!”

“I am happy with our recent stay and would recommend Mariners Cottage with a few exceptions (read on). We were in town for my sister in law’s St Patrick’s Day weekend wedding. I was trying to find a place near the house she had rented and this was only about 3 blocks away, which was nice. This isn’t on one of the charming tree lined streets of the historic district by any means. But that also meant less traffic and noise so I guess it’s a trade off. Ron & Leuveda prepare and maintain the cottage better than any I’ve ever stayed in, especially if you love pristine clean but cozy & comfortable all wrapped into one! “Our stay at the cottage was absolutely perfect. I have never stayed in a rental that was exactly as listed. It was so beautiful. Location was perfect. You can walk to almost any location in the downtown area. The cottage was so clean. I'm OCD and couldn't find any area that wasn't clean. Also, the extra little things matter. Such as supplying q-tips, makeup pad removers, more than enough towels, blow dryers, curling iron, as well as a straightener. Includes a full size washer-dryer and even……

“Our stay was great! Number one Mary was such a pleasure, she is super responsive and accommodating. The home is full of charm and it’s cozy. Mary has it equipped with everything you need for your stay. It really did feel like home away from home. The location was perfect! Right across the street from the park and 5mins uber or 15mins walk to everything! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this home for your next visit. ”

“This was a rustic beach home, fine for an affordable stay on Tybee, but near enough to Savannah too. The weather was not very cooperative (September). Rain flooded driveway and only the basics in kitchen (no can opener!). But overall, a lovely place. Very clean and quiet.”
