“Fabulous location overlooking the valley. Staff food and rooms are all great. A minor downside is lighting over the handbag in the bathroom where good light is needed for contact lens wearers; however this is common to almost all hotels nowadays”

“We were looking for a hotel near Stonehenge and had one of the best hotel experiences I've ever enjoyed! The staff is friendly and accommodating. The food and beverages are excellent. I only wish we could stay longer!”

“Comfortable room with tall wardrobe for hanging full length dresses. Bathroom lacked shelf space and hooks for dressing gowns or towels. Great shower. Good choice for continental breakfast. Unfortunately no on site parking .”

“Blood stained on the bed sheets! When I requested to change the bed sheets, the staff told me that its their policy to change every 3 days!!”

“There is parking behind the waitrose and staff walked us there after their shift had ended to ensure we understood the parking App since tomorrow is the Farmers Market on High Street and we would have to move the vehicle early. Now it’s all sorted and paid in advance. Of course it’s an older hotel and everything is crooked and settled, but you should come here for that eclectic experience, as we did. I just miss the old mural that was painted in the pub before, replaced by a more modern map. ”

“The hotel is very clean, nice and beautiful. They have a big, nice garden and is well managed. It gives you a pleasant environment that you relax and can walk around enjoying the atmosphere. The staff are nice and professional. The gardener even has time to introduce me to the plant I am interested in. This shows how a professional team they are. ”
