“Although only booked for one night, but I had a very good experience.The staff are very helpful, the location is convenience that is close to town and just next to Cathedral. I love the fact that the hotel is a historical building and preserved so well from the inside and outside. Highly recommend to stay there while you visit Stonehenge, Old Sarum & Saisbury Cathedral.”

“I stayed whilst working in the area. I have to say I've stayed in fair nicer hotels for less money! The room was averagely clean, dust in the bathroom, no where to store wash bag other than the floor. The room was not replenished with tea/coffee one morning and dirty cups remained. The breakfast was self service, no decent coffee (latte etc was charged as an extra) very basic again for the money. Having said that, the location was fantastic but I just felt it was quite expensive for what……

“I had a good night's sleep, although I did request 2 single beds for myself and my daughter, but arrived to a king size bed. I was concerned about the noise that the neighbours were making when they returned to their room, as they must have opened and closed their door around 10 times for some reason.”

“Attic room, was nice, however not so great if you are tall. Even at 5ft 8, and partner 6ft 3 spent alot of time bent over avoiding hitting our heads. Bath was spectacular! Room was warm, and restrictors on the windows, so unable to get any air flow. Bed very comfy! Cafetiere and Illy coffee was a lovely touch Was a bit disappointed breakfast was included, but had to.pay extra £4 each for a full english. Food was good though. Staff super lovely.”

“This is a wonderful thatched roof hotel, so old and quaint. Beds were super comfortable, room clean if a bit dated. The pub was wonderful, food was great. Highly recommend for authentic english experience.”
