“We stayed at the Border Hotel for a couple of nights while walking St Cuthbert’s Way. The bath was a very welcome addition to the bathroom & we certainly made use of it during our stay. The bed was a little too soft & a bit lopsided but after our hikes we slept like logs anyway. This is a no frills hotel but it had everything we needed. Hearty food & a lovely friendly team. ”

“Not much could be improved upon at this beautiful, immaculate, well-organized B&B. Uta was delightful. The room & toilet were lovely, spacious, and wonderfully decorated. The view from our room (and even the toilet!) was one of the grand memories of our trip. Parking was in an enclosed area and spacious. Breakfast was delicious. You won't go wrong here!”

“Absolutely brilliant!! The room was lovely, everything in it you could want and more. Very generous with toiletries and refreshments. I had a perfect nights sleep! There is also a lovely garden you can use and enjoy. Staff were very relaxed, friendly and helpful.
