“I feel lucky to have found this place on VRBO for the End of the World Rod Run weekend. The home is quaint, comfortable, and very well maintained, with ocean views and a private path to the beach. It offers everything you could want for a relaxing stay — a private hot tub, BBQ, and fire pit.Although attached to a larger home, it sits down a private driveway and feels peaceful and secluded. The owners were incredibly kind and easygoing — which was a blessing since we had an unexpected car issue……

“Manitou Lodge is gorgeous! The lodge itself is amazing: rustic vibe with elk skins, lots of oversized furniture, games, books and big pillows. It would be perfect for a special occasion.If you are interested in the tent sites, number 3, 6, 7, and 9 are the largest and nicest in my opinion.I stayed at the Outback cabin which is the smallest cabin available. “2 adults and 1 kiddo (1st grader) stayed for 5 nights next to beautiful Lake Sutherland. Hot tub was wonderful. Barbecue was great to use. LOVED paddling with the kayaks and paddleboards! (Bring your own life vests) for a cool paddle try paddling west all the way to the creek at the end of the lake, you can paddle down aways in kayaks. The house was great for family of 3, appreciated small plates and kids DVDs. Wifi worked without any issues. Port Angeles was 20 min drive for any grocery needs.……

“We had a wonderful time at the lake and visiting the National Park. The cabin was comfortable and perfect for hanging out by the lake after hiking.”

“I loved the kitchen. It has everything you need. I found plenty of utensils, pots and pans. Well stocked cups, plates, bowls, plus some popular spices. Also I found Keurig k-cups and some coffee in the fridge. Both options available. The cabin is very comfy for two adults and two smalls. You could have a third adult on the couch. You are about 5-7 mimute walk from restaurants. About 12 minutes from the ocean. Pretty kid friendly. Bike rentals are an option. If you are a party of 3 maybe 4 then……

“We had a lovely stay at this “tiny” house! It was so thoughtfully decorated and equipped. I had not stayed at a place with a kitchen so well stocked with spices, cooking utensils, pots and dishes so that we made a spontaneous steak dinner using the nice grill on the front patio. “What a peaceful setting!!! We absolutely loved our time there, and the owner was wonderful.”

“My boyfriend and I absolutely love Lake Cushman and we stayed the weekend for celebrate his birthday. This cabin has it ALL!!! The host was absolutely fantastic and was easily accessible for any questions. Hot tub on the patio facing the lake was absolutely amazing!!! Sauna on the back deck was a nice treat. “We had a great 2 night stay. We have 2 adults (downstairs bedroom) and our 21 and 18 year old (loft). Great location for exploring- we hit the rainforest (go early- the line was really long to get in by the time we left) and Ruby Beach- highly recommend both. We cooked some basic meals- the kitchen was well stocked and easy to maneuver in. Everything was super clean and the beds were comfortable. We spaced out showers and didn’t have a problem with the water. We loved this little house……

"It was beautiful right next to the beach. Front desk staff were super nice! The only thing I have to complain about is the housekeeping. It was around 9:30AM when the housekeeper knocked and scanned her card without waiting for a response from us. She tried to come in and I screamed “ someone’s still in here” and she left. I didn’t care about it the first time but she came AGAIN in half an hour or so and tried to come in again. It would been a pleasant stay if the housekeeper was well managed and let them know which rooms are empty and not. Overall it was a good experience as for the location. "
