“The oak tree inn was a good choice for a one night stay. The drinks were nice and the breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive. The room was nice and clean. Tv remote was very slow and shower wasn't great. Bed was only a double and prefer king size but was fine for stop over stay”

“Friendliest staff I’ve ever met at a hotel had to move rooms due to noisy air conditioning units outside our window but accommodated us no problem couldn’t do enough for you definitely will go back thanks for a great weekend ”

“Quiet and comfortable rooms, the two person lift was a bit limiting. Spacious parkland with lots of hanging baskets (the vertical "Petunium" was spectacular) and a novel planting scheme in the borders. The food was well cooked and mostly spicy choices and the service was friendly & good in the Stable block. ”

“Overall everything was good, our only issue was after being there for a few days we noticed the toaster was full of crumbs, obviously not been emptied for quite some time, and the oven tray had not been cleaned after it had been used. We hadn’t met the owner, so decided it was easier just to clean them both before using them. On the hole, everything else was excellent. There was no recycling facilities, which was quite a surprise, and also a slight disappointment. Everything else was above……

“Lovely hotel. Moved room to room with view. Lovely staff. Comfy bed. Large bathroom. Restaraunt lovely food. Bit dark. Bath needs handrail. Room v warm. Fridge items in room included. Cud do with xtra bath towels, milk and tea bags.”

“We booked this as a large group and it didn't disappoint. The apartments were well laid out with ample space in the living room areas. There was great cleanliness throughout and areas stayed at a nice temperature. The accomodation was really quiet at night and the key system although awkward at first was easier than keys. The location was also great with a short tram or 20min walk into town. Only small gripes are that we would have liked more utensils/ crockery, it would also be nice if there……
