“The Brewers Arms has large, comfortable rooms, nicely decorated and maintained. It's a historic building so corridors are narrow, stairs are steep, doorways low and there's a bit of road noise through single glazed windows, but it is a charming pub with great beers and food and excellent staff.”

“What a find, a proper country pub with real beer, real people and great food. Add to that a suntrap of a garden and absolute peace through the night. Well done Steve, carry on doing what you are doing. Oh and did I mention the breakfast...?”

“Convenient for the Haynes Museum and The Air museum. The rooms not as nice as we expected. Very dark and dated. The toilet was loose on the floor and there was no hot water in the sink, our room didn’t have curtains but shutters which meant if you made it private you couldn’t have any fresh air and it was very hot! Breakfast was okay. Beautiful wisteria growing in the courtyard ”

“Very pleasant people. Attentive. Room clean. Nice touch, bottled water. Clipper tea. Clean bathroom. Nice towels on heated towel rail. Plenty of parking. “For the price this place was awesome...wish i had used the Bar & Restaurant as looked very good. ”

“Staying here with two adults & a large dog in room 4 was a tight squeeze. Garden bench was rotten and broken. Very busy road outside but I wasn’t aware of this at night, the accommodation is set back a bit. Seems like locals love this place, the restaurant was full. The staff are very friendly.”
