“Older hotel that is in need of updates and a good cleaning. Checked in and found glitter on the bathroom floor, it was still there when we checked out a week later. Bathtub had mold, walls under sink were caked with dirt and cobwebs and the towels were better suited for sanding instead of drying due to their roughness. The complimentary breakfast was minimal. Eggs, bacon one day sausge the next and mke your own waffels in addition to cold cereal. Luckily we only needed a place to sleep for a few……

"The Tidal Basin is just across the street from the hotel, and the hotel has its own private bridge across the street to the Tidal Basin, which is in a great location to view the cherry blossoms at the Tidal Basin and go to the National Mall. The service staff is very friendly, and the hotel is tastefully decorated, clean and warm. The room is large and overlooks the Tidal Basin from the window.We came to see the cherry blossoms this time with my elderly mother. The hotel is very conveniently located for my mother in a wheelchair to visit the Tidal Basin."
