“Beautiful garden and room. The room was a good size with a large, comfy bed, great shower and fresh milk for tea and coffee. We ate dinner there, having established that there were options for a vegetarian who was also coeliac. I had a vegan but not GF wellington, which was lovely. Breakfast was also excellent, with a coeliac-friendly omelette with GF toast. It was all delicious, so thank you Ellerby Inn! The website said EV charging was available. “This is a wonderful property and unusual for a hotel with a spa. It is located in the market town of Helmsley which offers a great selection of places to wander to. The hotel has a range of rooms - this time we stayed in a spa suite and couldn’t fault it. A large entrance into a separate living area, a huge bedroom and bathroom with fabulous bath tub and separate shower. Breakfast was delicious with a range of options. The spa is included in the price too, which is another reason to visit this……

“We booked last minute for bank holiday stay. Room no 7 had the most comfortable bed I think I’ve ever slept in ! The room had everything we needed & the added sleep was a welcome bonus. ”

“A lovely little family run hotel. The staff couldn't have been friendlier, from arrival to check out, nothing was too much trouble. We thought this was the cleanest hotel we have stayed in. Parking was easy and convenient - we just left the car there as it was easy enough to walk down to the harbour. The restaurant was amazing and fantastic value for money, everything freshly cooked and prepared, so it was no trouble to ask for a dish to be customised to taste. We would highly recommend this……

“The rooms are above the station inn pub. Room only in a double room. Room was clean and nicely decorated. No air con but a fan. Tea and coffee available in room. Sea kelp body soap etc Stairs upto the rooms but the guy who checked us in helped us upstairs. The bar was great and the staff friendly. Great selection of beers. Great act on 8-10pm had a great time. ”

“Little gem of a place, lovely little suite photos are absolutely honest, really clean and warm with a great shower and a comfy bed. The staff were welcoming and helpful. If you have mobility issues though this isn’t the accommodation for you, stairs up to the flat door then another short but fairly steep set up to the suite door, another short but steep windy staircase to the bedroom from the lounge, I did however find this a nice quirky addition.One thing to bear in mind is that your are over……
