“Lovely accomodation, very friendly and helpful staff, the best breakfast ever. Very doggy friendly, and extremely clean. The location was really good, close to beaches, pubs, entertainment and bus stops. Would recommend if your looking for a really good break away. ”

“Lovely property that was fit for purpose. The staff were wonderful and the little touches such as the colouring pencils and cartoon characters for kids to colour and then paste on the reception wall was great. My daughter enjoyed that. ”

“Convenient location for Bristol airport, Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole. Good food ,friendly staff and plenty of free parking. ”

“It was a very nice stay with an excellent couple. Warm welcomed. A very nice big dog was also present to welcome. I had to say hello to the dog as he was so friendly. Very cooperative host. Family environment. Residence is upstairs like three rooms and bathroom outside the rooms. Mostly quiet. Nice and clean and a proper communication with the host throughout my stay. I was invited warmly to have breakfast but had no time. Will miss this stay.”

“I've used the F&G over many years. It's a decent independent hotel which has recently refurbished at least some of its rooms. If you're fed up of chains, try the F&G.”
