“Beautiful property, really friendly owner, unbelievably comfortable bed and stunning decor on deluxe room king room. Also had a lovely cooked breakfast. Great location, close to town centre with easy parking outside. Would thoroughly recommend! ”

“Could not imagine a more wonderful stay. Hiking Hadrian’s wall and the Sally was a most wonderful stay. The food was incredible with great vegetarian and gluten free options. The rooms were large and comfortable with very comfortable beds, great water pressure, and all spotlessly clean. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, all in a lovely little parish. I highly recommend staying at the Sally. ”

“Mark was very accommodating and my room was really big and comfortable Water pressure very good for having a shower I only stayed 1 night but I know the area very well and the guest house is a short walk from most places in town but quiet and peaceful guest house location Penrith is a beautiful picture postcard town and very handy base for traveling to the Lake District I will certainly be booking again I didn’t stay for breakfast but the menu look delicious ”
