“Awesome place in Newark. We (family of 6; 1 senior, 3 adults and 2 kids) were on a vacation to New York. We stayed at this place for 3 nights. “Our group of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. The house was immaculate and well equipped for anything you could possibly need with varied spaces that invited spending time together or finding quiet, alone time. While the weather didn't cooperate so that we could enjoy the outdoor spaces at the firepit ot the outdoor kitchen, the hot tub was a nice respite after the Spartan Race. “Serene and beautiful. More spacious even than it looks online. Wonderful place to retreat to with a group of couple friends or a family visiting the beautiful mountains and farms in the area. “We deeply enjoyed our stay.Arrival: Our host was very attentive from the time we booked our stay to the time we left. “Completely redone/new. We think it may have just been done, because there were sparse kitchenware. Enough for two, and we managed to cook, but definitely needs an upgrade as far as pots, pans, utensils and dishware. Keep in mind there is no yard, so if you bring pets plan on going to Hopatcong State Park (three minute drive) to walk them. Also, it’s on a hill and the dock and lake are only accessible by many steep steps. ”

“House was as described and property group was good at communicating. Beatiful lake views and a small park nearby. The house only has queen beds, there is no king in the master as decribed in the pic and the septic system backed up into our shower during the stay.”
