“Postgate Barn was everything we hope it would be and more; it's location is great for exploring the North York Moors and the views across the valley are spectacular if you have the weather!The Barn is perfect for 2 couples and has all the amenities you will need, including a well equipped kitchen. The welcome touches were very much appreciated!Mark and Moya are superb hosts, with quick communication and offers of advice/support if needed.”

“Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in a house that was really conveniently located and full of character. The house dates back to the 16 hundreds but has all the modern comforts we’ve come to expect. Church Street is a cobbled, pedestrianised Road that leads up to the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go with ease and the range of local restaurants was very impressive. If you get past the fish and chip restaurants, try Cosa Nostradamus and Italian restaurant just……

“I can't really fault it. The property is nice, staff were really nice, the room was just what we hoped for. We had a lovely evening meal followed by a good nights sleep. Breakfast options were all cooked options, although I'm not a breakfast eater so only had some toast. ”
