“The pub to stay is lovely but when the area is busy parking is an issue. ”

“A lovely cottage in a great location. The cottage has everything you need and the bedrooms are a good size too. There are several uneven, steep steps walking up to the cottage so I wouldn’t recommend it to people who are unsteady on their feet. The owners left some biscuits and milk on the fridge which was a nice gesture. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future when visiting Whitby.”

“I really liked this, used to live in Whitby so like coming home. The food is excellent apart from Trenchers which was down on last years although the service was good. My bedroom was superb - beautifully done using all options there for you. Many thanks for a lovely time. Jane Brown”

“Great location, room had a lovely view and staff were very welcoming and friendly. Nice comfortable bed, great breakfast. Maybe could do with a lick of paint but would definitely stay here again.”
