“Lovely hotel off the beaten track, but within short distance of Newmarket Racecourse. Booked a standard double but Daisy the very helpful Receptionist upgraded the room to a Superior King. The room was large and very clean and the bed was comfortable. As an added bonus the bathroom had a spa bath which was amazing! Breakfast was good but the afternoon tea was fantastic! Fresh sandwiches, warm scones and delicious cakes and a bottomless teapot! Did not have dinner in the restaurant and……

“Fantastic hotel in Cambridge city centre. I have rarely been so positively impressed. My room was a studio with a fully equipped kitchen, including fridge with freezer shelf, microwave, coffee maker ++. The have not been cheap on anything, which most hotels are. The ground floor lounge is amazing, with modern interior, super nice chairs and sofas, and an outdoor area. I had some problems with a crazy automatic door, other people in my room when I arrived, and water/shower noe working, but the……

“The Packhorse Inn was a very pleasant inn to stay at for my business trip! The room itself was well air conditioned and the amenities were very comfortable. Any extras needed such as ironing board, etc were readily available from the staff. Had breakfast and supper multiple evenings of my trip and always enjoyed them throughly. Generous portions and reasonable pricing. The inn itself is located next to a quiet and quaint village which is a short few minute drive into Newmarket which is loaded……
